Una bambina che sale su un albero arrampicandosi tra i rami, scopre paesaggi e prospettive che da
terra non sarebbero visibili. Si allunga su un ramo, lasciandosi cullare da pensieri e fantasie, in
quella sospensione infantile dove tutto è possibile.
La distanza tra la scultura in aria e il vuoto sotto, è lo spazio che intercorre tra il presente e il ricordo sbiadito del nostro passato, dell’essere stati bambini.
Il lavoro rappresenta il tentativo di far riemergere quei ricordi, quelle sensazioni, lo stato della fanciullezza. Cristallizzare la memoria di quei momenti, una lotta contro il tempo.
La visione di un animale selvatico, inafferrabile. Un autoritratto.
A little girl climbs a tree among the branches, discovers landscapes and perspectives that from earth wouldn't be visible. She stretches out on a branch, letting herself be lulled by thoughts and fantasies, in that infantile suspension where everything is possible.
The distance between the sculpture in the air and the void below is the space between the present and the faded memory of our past, of having been children.
The work represents the attempt to re-emerge those memories, those feelings, the state of childhood. Crystallizing the memory of those moments, a fight against time.
